Gnocchi

Turri's Gnocchi are a traditional Italian favorite. These mini dumplings are made of potatoes, semolina, whole eggs and, for an additional southern Italian flair, we blend ricotta cheese into the dough. Gnocchi is delicious in any type of sauce, but it you want to make Nonna (Your Italian Grandmother) proud, serve your Gnocchi in an aglio e olio sauce with sauteed onions or in a roasted garlic butter sauce.

Heating Instructions

  • Use 1 quart of water to every pound of Gnocchi. Bring water to boil.
  • Add FROZEN Gnocchi to boiling water and stir gently.
  • Return water to a boil and time for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Strain Gnocchi

Serving Suggestions

    Gnocchi with Meat Sauce
  • After straining the Gnocchi, cover with your favorite meat sauce & serve
    Gnocchi Salad
  • After straining Gnocchi, place them in cold water until cold. Use your favorite potato salad recipe and substitute Gnocchi instead of the potatoes.
    Italian Style Potato Soup
  • After straining Gnocchi, add to a cream style soup and simmer for 5 minutes, then serve. DO NOT BOIL GNOCCHI IN SOUP!
